MP Tamara Jansen introduced private members Bill C-218 to prevent euthanasia for mental illness by excluding mental disorders from being considered a "grievous and irremediable medical condition" for the purposes of MAiD. If passed no one would be eligible for MAiD for mental illness alone.

I agree Father. I had a very strong sense to pray for Pope Leo. I feel a closeness that can only come from God. I believe Our Holy Father needs all our prayers especially asking for Our Lady’s maternal protection and St.Michael’s intercession.

Early this morning, the Lord woke me up and told me to pray for The Pope: It wasn’t subtle or vague.
It felt like a faucet of prayer poured out of me; intense, focused and desperate.
It struck me that He needed help, not opinions or analysis. It’s my sincere conviction that my urge to pray came directly as a result of his crying out to God. I believe this happened to a lot of people besides me.
People are going to give you their opinions and ask for yours. These opinions are not necessary at all. They help nothing, they do no one any good.
Prayer, on the other hand, works.
Pray hard for Pope Leo today. Encourage others to do the same.
