The burn stats look great for marketing, but that's only half the truth. Where do those 20k $APE in fees come from? From player losses. "ApeChurch is burning more" basically just means: "ApeChurch is extracting the most liquidity from the community". A casino is still a casino. 🤷‍♂️ $APE

@morethenhype I think those are some harsh words you're using. Dissenting opinions have always led to progress. So, basically, every opinion you don't share is worthless, or what do you mean?

Sorry, but I think it's a shame that the moment you criticize something—specifically something you personally don't find all that great—most people here in the Space immediately label you a "non-believer" or a "hater." There are plenty of projects out there that are out to rip you off, so criticism and caution are always warranted—regardless of who or what is running the project. Even big names have pulled scams before. ;)

We're aware of some issues with the new launcher, and they pertain to Mac users.

We've identified the cause: your Mac needs to compile shaders locally on the first launch, which can result in a black screen for up to a minute or two. This is a one-time thing. Once cached, you won't hit it again.

If you're experiencing this:
Let the build sit. It will load. Give it a couple minutes even if the screen stays black.

If waiting doesn't resolve it:
Send us your log file so we can dig in. You can find it here:
~/Library/Containers/io.msquared.M2DevelopmentClient/Data/Library/Logs/M2Development.log

What we're doing about it:
We're working on precompiling shaders and baking them into the build so this doesn't happen going forward. We're also adding a loading indicator so you're not just staring into the void wondering if something broke.

Five Gimbos worth nearly $11,000 were stolen from me "in your name." Since this was the only name used, with the same date and also from 2021 (so not a new account), I can assume it could only have been you. If not, sorry, but your account was definitely used, which is why I got so angry. The scammer took from someone who didn't have much to begin with and has now lost faith in the crypto scene. It's truly awful that there are people who steal other people's money. Just a bunch of scoundrels in my eyes.
