#BREAKING Junaid Malik, the food volunteer at the CJP student protests in Delhi, moves the #SupremeCourt alleging harassment and detention by police.
Junaid says that he was picked up from Delhi by police officials, and was kept in a vehicle for 5-6 hours, during which he was threatened and intimidated, and was ultimately dropped off at a far off location in Dehradun road.
Junaid also says that Ghaziabad police detained his father, and raided his home. The police also allegedly visited his married sister's home at Meerut and picked up her father-in-law and brother-in-law. He alleges that the coercive steps were not taken with any paper-work and following legal procedure.
Junaid urges Supreme Court to stop coercive steps by police against his family members.

BREAKING
If by tomorrow we do not receive a written agreement from the Govt, and the FIRs are not withdrawn and the protesters are not released, we will be forced to call for the protest again...- Ashutosh Ranka, CJP spokesperson
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has approached Bombay High Court against-social media posts linking him, and his family to E20 related business gains.
According to Nitin Gadkari's lawsuit in Bombay HC, the disputed content on social media include posts and deepfake pictures and videos etc linking him and his family to profits from the E20 ethanol blending programme. Lawsuit filed by him also emphasises that the ethanol blending policy is being administered by the Petroleum Ministry.
HC has allowed him to file a civil suit against Meta and other social media platforms and unidentified entities which are allegedly being used for spreading misinformation against Nitin Gadkari and his family.

Dear @JPNadda@DrJitendraSingh ji,
We are observing a complete breach of the agreement regarding no police action against the protestors. Hundreds of students have been arrested in Bihar and Bengal, and hundreds are being surveilled/harrassed in Delhi and other states. Multiple reports are emerging in Delhi around detention of volunteers supporting protestors with logistics.
We demand that all the FIRs against the protestors be immediately withdrawn, students be released and no future FIRs be filed (in line with our agreement) by Delhi police / Central investigative agencies / Police in BJP-allied states, FAILING WHICH WE WILL BE FORCED TO SIT ON PROTEST AGAIN.
We also demand that the written agreement around legal cases be shared with us by tomorrow, the aligned timelines with the Government of India.
