@SirJarus@IncredibleHeis Exactly, sir.
Even if all of them retire and stop working till they die while spending significantly, they will still stay at the top 1%. Nigerians do not have a grasp of what true wealth is.
@yabaleftonline This is like giving a speech about the history of Nigeria and starting from 1999.
Dangote is a product of 3 generations of wealth all from Kano, a sub-saharan trade route centuries b4 the existence of a geographic entity called Nigeria, same with BUA who inherited his fortune.

A hotel was recently caught on an electricity bypass and have been mandated to pay over ₦30 million in penalties before they can be reconnected to the grid.
The interesting part is that management is claiming they knew nothing about it. According to them, they only found out after the DisCo presented evidence showing that the prepaid meter had been tampered with.
An internal investigation later revealed that the hotel's facility manager was allegedly responsible for coordinating the bypass without the knowledge of the management. The scheme was carefully designed to conceal its existence and avoid raising suspicion.
From what I gathered, the scheme was quite clever.
The facility manager would bypass the meter so the hotel consumed more electricity from the grid while paying far less than they should. At the same time, he would present inflated diesel amount to management.
For instance, if management approved ₦5 million for diesel, he might buy only ₦3 million diesel and pocket the remaining ₦2 million. Since the electricity bills were coming in very low, nobody questioned the diesel expenses because they assumed the generators were carrying most of the load.
What management didn't realize was that the facility was actually relying heavily on grid power, but the bypass ensured that usage wasn't being properly recorded.
The arrangement reportedly went on for over six months before it was eventually discovered.
You see the atrocities people commit.
You see how people gain the system that feeds them.
You see how people contribute to the current problem we're facing as a country.
@el_bonga Two truths can exist, we have and will have more generational wealth from thieves and also from business moguls. Dangote as much as he was given 'a loan' is still a product of generational wealth cos who gives a loan of $150k to a new businessman? Same with BUA, and others.
@YusufAsunmogejo I don't think he has learnt any lesson, he boldly came out to say he will invest heavily in the upcoming Dangote's IPO, someone with his liquidity should help us industrialize as Dangote is doing, not hoard wealth sir.

I used to be surprised when i see people say things like that until i engaged and lived with people with that kind of mentality, and then i realised something.
You can only speak about morals to someone who has and knows morals. To many people, the Akhiraj is an afterthought.
This is what every single Fulani should be doing online. It is not a sign of weakness but rather a counter-measure. We're slowly moving to a point where people attack innocent Fulanis for something they didn't do, and their only crime is not speaking up. Don't be that person.

If I had a way to reach the Fulani boy and girl in the deep rural areas of this world, I would advise them to look hard at the best examples their own Fulani blood has produced, and to model their lives on them.

@Imranmuhdz@mvcciido_szn At least Buhari had the decency of summoning the service chiefs every few weeks for security updates and giving his iconic 'i assure you ...' messages through his media.
This one is only concerned about re-election. Nothing else matters. He can't even do fake sympathy.
If we don’t want Sharia, fine. Nobody is forcing you to support it. But what shouldn’t be acceptable is spreading falsehoods and defaming Sharia law. Criticism is fair; misinformation isn’t.

Western education (500k - 1+ mil) = Job opportunities are getting scare, computers are replacing people, you might not be able to finish it.
Islamic education = Prepares you for this dunya and Akhira, your official manual towards living, ground you on discipline + growth.
@abbakarrrh Many hausa films will effectively reduce your IQ because of all the issues we have in the North, 99% of Kannywood movies is about pure dulsional romance, no creativity for decades, they tried with Dadin Kowa, Kwana Chasa'in and a few but that's like 5 of 1000.
Social media is such a toxic place, asides the propaganda bots, PR bots, and their likes, it is simply a place for people to pour out their vague and unfiltered thoughts.
