Billionaire CEO of Virgin Atlantic, Richard Branson, paid a surprise visit to one of Virgin Atlantic branches and found an employee napping on a couch. He took a picture beside him and published it with the following:
"In order to remain the first company in that customer's satisfaction, this employee worked so hard and now he is so tired, which forced him to rest a little."
Perspective and perception are key drivers in life. While he sees him as a tired employee that needed some rest, another boss somewhere may see it as sleeping on duty.
It is always good to view things from other perspectives and also put a human face to it. Much respect to Richard Branson.
VIDEO: Tinubu declares State of emergency in Rivers
In a dramatic move on Tuesday evening, President Bola Tinubu declared a state of emergency in Rivers State, citing an escalating crisis between the executive and legislative arms of government.
The announcement came during a televised national address that lasted for 12 minutes, sending shockwaves across the nation.
Tinubu’s intervention comes as tensions in Rivers State have reached a boiling point, with growing unrest between key political figures.
As part of the emergency measures, Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his Deputy, and all members of the Assembly are set to face immediate suspension for the next six months.
The President emphasised that this decision, though difficult, was necessary to restore stability and ensure good governance in the state.
According to him: “By this declaration, the Governor of Rivers State, Mr Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, Mrs Ngozi Odu and all elected members of the House of Assembly of Rivers State are hereby suspended for an initial period of six months.
“In the meantime, I hereby nominate Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas (Rtd) as Administrator to take charge of the affairs of the state in the interest of the good people of Rivers State.”

"The General that promulgated seven decrees to set aside a free and fair election and also set aside both the court of appeal and the election tribunal that was setup for that election is suddenly saying he had no idea that the election was annulled, is playing with the intelligence of all of us who were around at that time.
