What's impossible about forgetting Edsa? My youthful naiveté was taken advantage of the Yellowidiots at that time. Critical thinking wasn't taught at DLSU. About 99% of the faculty were anti-Marcos. We believed we were fighting for a cause and victoruosu after Marcos was ousted. We thought there was going to be real change but we got shot with a dose of reality after we entered the workforce.
On the political front, it was scandal after scandal during the Cory administration. There were also the coup attempts because Cory welshed on the deals she made with Laurel and Enrile. It was the Americans who kept Cory in power, along with their loyal Amboy, Fidel Ramos.
Ramos because president and made unity his top agenda. He succeeded up to an extent but his administration was also plagued by scandals. As Max Soliven's daughter told me, her father couldn't expose Ramos but he was definitely corrupt. It was one reaon why Cory opposed his move to amend the constitution for him to stay in power longer.
We all know what happened in each of the three administration's which followed. Duterte's win was the paradigm shift and paved the way for the political rehabilitation of the Marcos'.
The promised unity was broken and we're back to square one again. The Yellowidiots should let Edsa rest in peace. It's dead. No one has the monopoly of corruption.
You can claim that none of the Yellowidiot leaders are corrupt but those of us who actually protested against Marcos from 1983 - 1986, know that everything is a lie.

I don’t want to connect my coffee machine to the wifi network. I don’t want to share the file with OneDrive. I don’t want to download an app to check my car’s fluid levels. I don’t want to scan a QR code to view the restaurant menu. I don’t want to let Google know my location before showing me the search results. I don’t want to include a Teams link on the calendar invite. I dont want to pay 50 different monthly subscription fees for all my software. I don’t want to upgrade to TurboTax platinum plus audit protection. I don’t want to install the Webex plugin to join the meeting. I don’t want to share my car’s braking data with the actuaries at State Farm. I don’t want to text with your AI chatbot. I don’t want to download the Instagram app to look at your picture. I don’t want to type in my email address to view the content on your company’s website. I don’t want text messages with promo codes. I don’t want to leave your company a five-star Google review in exchange for the chance to win a $20 Starbucks gift card. I don’t want to join your exclusive community in the metaverse. I don’t want AI to help me write my comments on LinkedIn. I don’t even want to be on LinkedIn in the first place.
I just want to pay for a product one time (and only one time), know that it’s going to work flawlessly, press 0 to speak to an operator if I need help, and otherwise be left alone and treated with some small measure of human dignity, if that’s not too much to ask anymore.
Want to lead? Stop being “nice".
Kind leaders are honest, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Use my sheet for success.

“Nice” leadership holds people back, here’s why:
Too many leaders mistake being nice for being kind.
Being "nice" doesn’t solve problems.
It doesn’t build trust or push people to grow.
It simply avoids conflict, leaving issues unresolved.
Think about a time when your leader was just "nice." They:
Avoided conflict
Ignored problems
Sugarcoated feedback
Maybe it felt good at first, but did you really grow from it?
Being kind is different.
Leadership isn’t a popularity contest.
It’s about creating a space where people feel:
Challenged
Supported
Trusted
Kindness does that.
Niceness doesn’t.
@xpietian@DaddyJuan_XXX Plan on how to get passive income that’ll be equivalent (or more) to ur monthly expenses. Pede mag invest sa PagIbig MP2 or banks. Malaki dividend ng MP2 & kahit 4.5% interest rate sa bangko ok na kesa sa wala. Tapos roll over nalang, preparation for retirement.
And just like that 20 years, happy anniversary American Idiot. We had no idea what this album would become, but we knew that it meant something to us, and it clearly resonated with you too. To anyone who’s blasted it in their car, sang it at the top of their lungs, or found a piece of themselves in these songs — thank you.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR DEBUT ALBUM #30SECONDSTOMARS 🎂🚀
Can you believe it’s been 22 years?! We had to dig around the archives for this one 🫨🤣
What a wild ride it’s been, we’re lucky to have you all on it with us 🖤
Why I know Duterte wasn't corrupt
I'm more and more convinced Duterte's has been our most corrupt-free presidebct. Why?
Even as there's been an all out campaign to smear his name (even have a foreign body to arrest him), his close ally religious leader Pastor Quiboloy hunted like a criminal, his daughter, son-in law, and son tried by publicity, he's unable to mount a strong defense. Why?
Becuase he didn't amass wealth from graft during his time.
I've heard the justification when I was in government: "Kailangan natin mag-ipon at mahal ang mga lawyer, mahal ang media pag banatan ka ng mga kaaway mo pag baba mo ng pwesto.
I don't think we will ever free this country from corruption.
