Someone who doesn't have a US passport but is eligible for one (parents are US citizens but the player was born and raised elsewhere without becoming a citizen) can. Also a player elig with multiple national but played 1 or less senior matches.

I'm not sure Poch could do much about that. It's a pampered generation. Even tho many play in Europe few have faces real pressure.

@ManagerTactical My instinct says no because 2nd cycles rarely turn out well. But, he only had a partial cycle and they were progressing and he is an elite level coach who has identified a system that works well with our players. I say keep him.

They don't have the spine to dig deep when they are down, especially in high pressure situations . That's not garbage, but it says a lot.

The problem is most of the team last night looked scared and too small for the moment. They looked mentally strong against Bosnia with 10 men, but last night they were minnows.

@ManagerTactical My take on this is Africa, Asia and Oceana are at their level. The Euros and SA are at the top and the NA teams are probably somewhere in the middle. The NA teams benefited from host status and home crowds. Difficult to determine how much. The truth will show in the round of 16.

@MLShater I don't think shameful, but it doesn't play to his strengths. He should be in the game late for set piece delivery when we want Malik on the receiving end. He is also better offensively than Tyler, so he can be a net + if we are chasing a goal late.
