🛡 Migration Tool Update
The next version of the wallet migration tool is now available. Update the existing SecondFi application through the official app store on your device.
What's new in this version:
- Wallets that have ADA delegated to a stake pool but do not hold sufficient ADA to cover network fees can now be migrated.
- SecondFi will cover the network fees for these migrations.
- Staked balances now show in the portfolio balance.
If your balance previously showed zero:
- You should now see your staked balance reflected after updating.
- If you have ADA delegated to a stake pool, you still need to migrate.
- There is no need to add funds to your wallet.
Where to migrate
- Migration takes place within an updated version of the official SecondFi application you already have installed, or the official SecondFi browser extension.
- There is no separate migration application, no standalone migration website, and no new application to install.
Our official channels are @secondfiapp and @secondfi_jp on X, and https://t.co/bKfl8SK9D2.
@mofidih6 If you’re seeing a message that the wallet seed is no longer accessible, please don’t re-import the wallet or make any transactions for now, especially if it may be connected to the SecondFi incident
Keep your wallet and recovery information secure and follow the recovery proces
@pw6BixoOGTPjH9b Just to clarify, the migration tool and victim recovery process are separate. Migration is intended for remaining assets, while funds lost during the incident are handled through the recovery process.
The recovery portal is now live. If you’re affected, feel free to reach out
@ale_pizz Hi, if you have NIGHT tokens that haven’t been redeemed yet, there’s no need to take any manual action right now. If your original SecondFi wallet was affected, please follow the recovery and redemption guidance rather than attempting to move the funds yourself.
@cryptofan222 If you’ve already migrated one affected wallet and the only remaining balance is still staked with the original SPO, I’d avoid making any further changes based on assumptions. Keep the affected wallet intact, follow recovery guidance, and confirm the remaining staked balance migr
@abu_bullbear I understand your concern about $NIGHT redemptions. If your wallet is affected, the redemption process is being handled separately through the recovery process. Please follow the recovery guidance before attempting to change the destination address
@Peejay_79er We understand how frustrating this situation has been, especially for users whose wallets were affected by the security incident. The recovery process for affected wallets is being handled separately, and the team is continuing to work on the recovery tool. Reach out to us.
@VladDem001@VladDem001 Yes, this applies to wallets that were not impacted by the recent security incident. If your wallet was affected, please follow the separate recovery process and guidance provided by the team.
