@chedaeth@RallyOnChain i like thinking of it as a reputation ledger instead of a reward system. rewards are nice, but the history of what you contributed is what compounds over time.
@abahbero that's a really interesting scenario about the vaccine shipment and the potential for ai disagreements. it feels like a big phase coming for how we'll handle these kinds of disputes with intelligent contracts and the need for judgment in automated systems
I think we're optimizing the wrong metric.
Everyone wants AI to make decisions in milliseconds.
I'd rather lose 3 seconds than lose $300 million because two AI agents read the same sentence differently.
Imagine an AI treasury buying corporate bonds. The contract says repayment can be delayed under "extraordinary market conditions."
One AI treats a liquidity crunch as extraordinary.
The other doesn't.
No exploit.
No broken code.
Just two rational interpretations with enormous consequences.
That's why I find @GenLayer interesting.
It isn't trying to make AI faster. It's building a way for independent AI validators to reason about disagreements and converge on a verdict instead of letting a single model decide what a contract "really meant."
The future agentic economy won't fail because every AI is dumb.
It will fail when smart AIs disagree at machine speed.
Which future worries you more: Faster AI, or AI making irreversible decisions before anyone can challenge them?

@abahbero@RallyOnChain one alpha report made me cut almost a third of my draft. i thought shorter meant weaker, but it actually became much easier to read. i've kept that style ever since.
