@MenchOsint ‘pre war levels’ is vague. Is it the day before the war began? The week? Could iran pick out a pre war day with the lowest traffic and say that’s the level it will return to? What constitutes fulfilling that level, Is it a minimum? What if they only allow 70% of that level?
@MenchOsint Even in MOU Iran has 30 days to return it to ‘pre war levels’ although no number is given
And even then it’s not really ‘open’ ships still require Irans permission and authorisation to pass
@MT_Anderson@TheIntelFrog@mercoglianos@vcdgf555 Iran has been very clear that their understanding of the MOU is that while it is open free of charge for 60 days, ships still have to communicate with and be authorized by Iran to pass through
NEW🇺🇸🇮🇷: The US has NOT agreed to release any Iranian frozen assets, a senior US official told @CBSNews.
A @Reuters report that cited a senior Iranian source was “not accurate”.
Meetings with Iran have not started yet, so no agreements have been discussed at all.
