#Pune Metro Phase-2 inauguration today.

The stations (routes) in 'red' on Line-1 (Purple) and Line-2 (Aqua) have been operational since Phase-1 (last year).

The new stations (routes) in Phase-2 are in 'blue'. This will be operational for passengers from Aug 2.

The cleaning of the canal in Sataav Vasti, Kharadi, had been pending for several days, causing concerns among the residents. In response to citizens' complaints, the team and I followed up with the PMC, and the canal was swiftly cleared.

This action will not only prevent water-logging during the ongoing rainy season but will also mitigate the potential risks of waterborne diseases.

Pune-Mumbai Rail connectivity requires a substantial boost. As one of the most crucial financial corridors in the country, #Pune and #Mumbai needs frequent and efficient train shuttles, akin to the Boston-New York route. While road connectivity between the two cities is well-established and thriving (and saturated), the potential of rail transport remains largely untapped.

Currently, it is nearly impossible to complete a day's work in Mumbai and return to Pune on the same day using the train. This glaring gap underscores the urgent requirement for enhanced rail infrastructure to facilitate convenient and timely travel between the two cities.
