Shocked and heartbroken to learn of Nathan Allman’s sudden passing.

Nathan wasn’t just the brilliant founder of
@OndoFinance — he was one of those rare early believers who trusted me and our team when we were still small and far less known. I will never forget those who supported us in our earliest and most difficult stages, and Nathan will always hold a special place in my heart.

We talked often back then. At Ondo’s TGE in early 2024, he chose to partner with us over much larger platforms like Binance. That trust helped create one of the most successful token launches of 2024 on Bybit. Even after I left, our friendship continued. He invited me to join Ondo, but I chose to build Bitget — where we were able to further support and accelerate Ondo’s adoption.

Together, we achieved great success once on Bybit, and once again on Bitget — where we integrated Ondo’s RWAs and drove Bitget to contribute 89% of Ondo’s global trading volume by the end of 2025.

Nathan’s vision, humility, and genuine belief in bridging TradFi and DeFi inspired everyone around him. The industry has lost a true pioneer too soon.

Thank you for your trust and your support, Nathan. I will always remember what you did in the early days. I hope you are resting peacefully, proud of everything we achieved together.

12 hr from the worst hack in history. ALL withdraws have been processed. Our withdraw system is now fully back to normal pace, you can withdraw any amount and experience no delays. Thanks for your patience and we are sorry that this has happened.

I totally agree on this as a volunteer of BOINC/World Community Grid for 10 years.
Though my job is to deliver what the community expect, I am sad to see the current DeSci hype is mainly opportunistic, not really understand science research or help real science dev.
