The lab book framing is doing real work here, but I'd push it one step further: in a lab you know what a valid measurement instrument looks like; for the social and education actions, I'm still not clear whether 2Factor has published the equivalent of a calibration standard, or whether 'verified' is defined only by whatever their backend decides after the fact.
