What I Learned From Kevin Podcast With Mert Mumtaz

Just watched Mert Mumtaz CEO of Helius, talk about Solana and Zcash and it changed how I look at evaluating chains.

Most of us just follow CT narratives without thinking. This one made me stop and rethink that.

My Notes From The Episode

→ Solana went from $8 to $300 and back to $60 but the price isn't the real story.
→ A chain only scales if it doesn't fight physics and its incentives are aligned.
→ Ethereum L2s were criticized for competing instead of growing together.
→ Mert sees Hyperliquid as a great exchange, not yet a successful blockchain.

The biggest lesson for me: stop copying what everyone else is saying and ask two simple questions about any project does it have the physics and does it have the incentives.
