The #1 question in my DMs every single day:

"Miles, I see your content, but how do I actually start making money with AI?"

My answer is always the same, and it surprises people every time.

Getting started with making money with AI has nothing to do with tools, niches, or even business ideas.

It's all about memory. Let me explain:

AI is simply a layer you slap on top of your existing data to become more efficient, or in this case, monetise.

If AI doesn't actually know anything about you or your skills, nothing else you try to build on top of it matters.

Imo, building a solid memory system isn't optional, as it's the foundation for everything else that sits on top.

Here's what I personally recommend for those looking to get started:

Build a local memory folder that holds everything you want Claude to know about you.

This could be: your existing skills, general business ideas, and an instructions file that tells Claude exactly when and how to update.

Now, every time you open a new session, Claude already knows your entire personal context.

Once that foundation exists, everything else gets dramatically easier:

Brainstorming business models that actually fit your existing skills, automating real workflows, building offers, and so on.

But skip this step, and you're building on nothing.

Most people jump straight to "how do I make money with AI" and skip the one part that makes everything downstream actually work.

Set up your memory system first. It's the best thing you could do.
