Memecoins main runner evolution:

You had Doge the dog meme coin
Then Shib the beta dog meme coin
Then Pepe one of the most recognisable memes on the internet

Market needed a reset after that. It was absurd and none of the new solana memes had any reason to be trading that valuations that high.

Now in order for a memecoin to run in 2026 it needs 2 things.

1. Staying Power
Anything that relies on virality cannot have staying power as virality dies due to the mass amount of content being produced daily.

2. A real community
When I say a real community I don't mean a few people on twitter going around spamming KOLs to try and pump their bags.

A real community is belonging to a group. Something that matches who YOU are as a person.

There are only two REAL communities that exist on Solana right now that you can belong to and in the bull run will be trading at billions.
