What happens to your AI agent when you turn off your computer?
On every other chain: it dies.
On Ritual: it keeps running.
This is one of the most fundamental shifts Ritual introduces agents that outlive their operators.
Here's how it works:
→ Agent state lives on the blockchain itself, not a server
→ The Scheduler wakes the agent up at any interval (every block, every hour, on a condition)
→ If the agent crashes, the chain revives it from checkpoints automatically
→ As long as it has funds in its RitualWallet it operates. Forever.
No AWS instance to maintain.
No cron job that breaks at 3am.
No human required.
The agent is sovereign. The chain is its heartbeat.
This is what "autonomous" actually means.

Normal blockchain agent when the server goes down: 💀
Ritual agent when the server goes down: 😌 still here
Agents on Ritual are tied to the blockchain itself not to your laptop, not to an AWS instance, not to your uptime.
The chain is its heartbeat. As long as it has funds, it runs. Forever.
Honestly the Ritual cat would make a great Ritual agent tbh. Very independent energy. 🐾

Let's talk about one of Ritual's most powerful features that nobody explains clearly.
Precompiles.
On a normal blockchain, if your smart contract needs to do something complex (like run an AI model), you'd have to call an external API outside the chain, unverifiable, centralized.
Ritual builds 16 precompiled contracts directly into the chain itself.
What that means:
→ AI model inference = native operation, like addition or multiplication
→ No external API call needed
→ Result settles in the same transaction
→ Encrypted inside TEE nobody can see the prompt or response
Think of precompiles like built-in calculator functions in a programming language.
Ritual just made "run an LLM" one of those built-in functions.
Your smart contract can now think.

TODAY IS GREEN DAY
This week, so many people upgraded to the Ritualist role at @ritualnet | @ritualfnd
I'm genuinely happy seeing this, and they truly deserve it because I know firsthand how hard they've been working all this time
Congratulations to those who got the upgrade🔥
