Can’t say if Pyth monetized faster since Chainlink doesn’t share any revenue numbers (to my knowledge).
Now, they did recently start selling access to their data streams for ~250/month/stream following the Pyth Pro move.
Solid move imo as builders often have needs for a handful of feeds. But they are still very far behind Pyth on tradfi assets, 24/7 feeds where the money is.
The Pyth domination on the market data front is easily backed by the dominance on RWA perps (96% market share) and Kalshi & Poly both selecting Pyth for all their RWA data needs (pred and perps).
Outside of the market data business, I am sure Chainlink brings a lot of dough with deployments and custom deals to bring their entire stack (bridge, token, …) to chains and institutions.
TL;DR both $PYTH and ethereum:0x514910771af9ca656af840dff83e8264ecf986ca have bright futures. It doesn’t have to be just one.
BREAKING: Pyth is now an external distributor of Nasdaq Basic.
@Nasdaq's real-time quote and trade product for U.S. equities, distributed through the Pyth Data Marketplace 🧵
A big moment for Pyth.
@Nasdaq has spent decades building some of the most important market infrastructure in the world. Now Nasdaq Basic is being distributed through the Pyth Data Marketplace.
This is the direction we've believed all market data was heading from day one.
Breaking: solana:BPxxfRCXkUVhig4HS1Lh7kZqV6SPJhzfEk4x6fVBjPCy surpasses ethereum:0xfaba6f8e4a5e8ab82f62fe7c39859fa577269be3 in total Tokenized stock DEX volume by ~4x
At the same time, Backpack is valued at 10% of ONDO
Either the market is inefficient and BP is ripe for a strong re-rating or ONDO is extremely overvalued at these levels and will break down.
Tokenized stock issuers are at war. Don’t forget about the power laws.
The winner will take a lion’s chunk of the market.
Bringing traditional finance onchain takes fast, low-cost settlement and 1:1 redeemable assets.

▸ $100–$1k trades: 1.6 bps vs 43.7 bps
Measured against the MU stock midpoint, including embedded DEX fees and actual network charges.
Solana for the network. Backpack Securities for 1:1 redeemable tokenized stocks.
Last week a Backpack tokenized stock out-traded its own NYSE listing — and almost nobody understands what actually happened.
