A few months ago, if someone told me a 9,999-supply NFT priced at $300 would sell out in five minutes, I would have called it a scam.

Today it happened.

Argonauts by @lphaCentauriKid just minted out on Ethereum.

Not a tiny 1/1 drop.
Not a free-mint farm.
Not another “utility + roadmap + hired CEO” package.

A full-size collection, public mint, $300 a piece gone before most people even opened the link.

That is the detail CT is still underselling.

This did not need a casino wrapper to work.

No points season.
No promised airdrop.
No team manufacturing a story in Discord.

It was art, an artist collectors already knew and a mint on Ethereum mainnet.

And that last part matters.

Secondary did not die after the mint either.
Floor printed above mint almost immediately.
Volume hit fast.

The book still looks bid, not like a dump and leave mint where everyone flips and disappears.

A few months ago the default take was simple: NFTs are dead, nobody pays $300 for a JPEG and 9,999 supply at that price is delusional.

The market answered those takes in five minutes.

My read is not “2021 is back.”

Capital is rotating into NFTs again but it is picky.

It is not spraying every PFP.

It is paying for artists with history, on-chain provenance and collections that feel like art instead of a pitch deck.

Argonauts is one data point.

Seasons start with data points like this: a real ETH mint, real sell-through, a real bid on secondary and no need to hide the drop inside a stock app.

The NFT market is not loud yet.

It is no longer empty.

If this collection had been announced in the quiet months, most of CT would have laughed.

Now the laugh is on the people who said demand was gone for good.

NFT season is not back because the timeline said so.

It is back because the money showed up.
