Introducing, Team1 India

What started as a group of 4 is now a network of 40 active contributors driving blockchain adoption and growth for Avalanche in India.

• 100+ events across 30+ cities and 20+ universities
• 4,000+ attendees
• 3,500+ developer applications for our 7-city hackathon tour

The mission is straightforward: We are building the network that ensures India remains one of the global leaders when it comes to blockchain and talent. Speculation is gone, replaced by a founder-friendly ecosystem where community, real-world products, and high-quality outcomes are the only metrics that matter.

Team1 India is doubling down on our most ambitious builders, moving founders from conceptual projects into thriving, market-ready solutions. Mentorship through hands-on workshops for students and brighter spotlights on local talent ensure that Team1 India is cultivating a builder culture that onboards and nurtures talent.

The journey continues, stronger and more focused than ever.

From day one of the first cohort to witnessing the transition of Avalanche India to @Team1IND it’s been an incredible ride. 🔺🇮🇳
I’ve worn many hats in this ecosystem: organizing local events, building through hackathons, and connecting with the community. Seeing how far we’ve come and how big Team1 is growing is a proud moment for all of us builders.
Currently, I’m heads-down on Facinet, a distributed facilitator network I’m building on @avax. We recently pushed through 'The Build Games,' clearing Stage 3! 🛠️
While we didn't hit the Pitch Day stage this time, the journey (and the prizes!) have given us exactly what we need to keep shipping. The grind doesn't stop.

Maximus Finance didn’t start as a big master plan. It began as a late-night chat between a few exhausted devs at the Avalanche Hackathon in Bangalore. We were just trying to figure out how to make DeFi less painful and more practical for everyday users.

Then came pitch day in Goa. Palm trees, nerves, and that surreal moment of standing on stage, sharing how far our little hackathon idea from Bangalore had come. Seeing it all come together made every sleepless night completely worth it.
