I'm joining @MetaDAOProject to save the entire industry.
Crypto is in a really tough spot right now. Some of my friends are pivoting to AI, altcoins are getting cooked, millions of tokens have launched with 99% of them down 99%, and everyone is saying it’s over. It's hard to blame them 😄Low float high FDV launches, founders selling their bags OTC, teams quiet quitting after raising millions. The standard playbook that has lasted for years extracts from retail instead of building real businesses.
MetaDAO is the only structural answer I’ve seen. It provides the guardrails that make tokens sustainable. I truly believe it is our only hope for making this industry worth staying in.
The last year at @zenith256 has genuinely been one of the best of my career. I wasn't looking to leave. When I met the MetaDAO team at @mtndao this year, it was the first time in a while a project made me feel like we were moving in the right direction as an industry. So when @metanallok reached out, I knew I had to at least listen.
If you're a founder building something real and want to fundraise, my DMs are open. Let's talk 😄
I'm fascinated by @MetaDAOProject on so many levels, but the one that stands out most is this:
It's arguably the project that the highest concentration of genuinely smart people in Solana actually give a shit about.
Having been close to the inner circle as a MetaDAO founder, I've noticed it's one of the most discussed projects on a daily basis, and the people discussing it come from completely different corners of crypto and beyond. Traders, researchers, protocol devs, mechanism design nerds, people who don't even overlap otherwise. All of them circling the same problem: on-chain capital allocation.
Is it the aura? Is it that the underlying problem is deep enough to hold serious people's attention? Is it that the mechanism design reads like a puzzle you want to solve? Is it @metanallok's handsomeness? Is it that the team actually listens? Or is it that it's fundamentally about token design, something nobody working in crypto can be apathetic about?
Other ICMs have tried to solve the same thing. None of them got this.
This is a serious question I've been sitting with for a while. What created this, and more importantly, what's keeping it alive? Why do so many intelligent people from unrelated fields all feel a need to be heard on MetaDAO specifically?
