honestly the biggest one for us right now is the confirm step itself each leg gets signed by the user, not auto-executed, so that's slower than any api call. after that it's leg risk: polymarket settles onchain, kalshi doesn't, so we're working on ways to reduce that gap rather than eliminate it outright. latency between the apis is the smallest piece at this scale.
