Few days ago, i wrote about @SentientAGI OML AI model and how they're aiming to revolutionize the AI ecosystem.

What I emphasized the most was the OML workfllow. This is a system designed by the people at Sentient to be fundamentally better for both users and model creators. Unlike traditional AI models, OML introduces a self-sustaining framework where users gain greater trust in the authenticity of the outputs they receive, while creators retain meaningful control over how their models are used and are fairly compensated at the same time.

It’s a model that balances accountability, transparency, and sustainability for both sides of the AI ecosystem.

→ The Reality Of Today's AI Models
Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes when you send an input or data to an AI model? When you do that, you lose all visibility and control of what happens from that point. You don’t know exactly how the model processed it, who can access it, or how it might be stored. For sensitive data (say a Patent), even if encrypted in transit, the model provider still sees the raw data.

For the model owners, they can’t selectively approve or deny usage in real time. If your model is out there, anyone with access can run it as many times as possible without your consent as AI models today lack mechanisms for owners to manage commercial usage or enforce license terms dynamically. This doesn't just lead to unlicensed usage, but also impedes monetization significantly.
