At the quasi geriatric age of 44, I am considered a boomer compared to all the Zoomers in this industry.

That means in many instances I have 20+ more years of life experience than most of the demographic in the NFT space (what am I even doing here?).

Therefore, many times my takes have rubbed some people the wrong way and given me the reputation of being on a "high horse."

To be honest, I embrace that reputation.

Not because I think I am better than others. I know from experience that I am not. In fact, I don't know how I would have acted when I was 20-25 if I was in this industry.

That being said, I embrace being somewhat of a counter-weight to all the nonsense I see peddled on this app.

Nonsense that comes from people of all ages.

The way I see it, most of you will be long gone from this industry and this app in the long-run.

So 10-15 years from now when you think back to these times (hopefully without regret), in the off chance you think of this boomer Frog, my guess is you will have one of two thoughts.

- "Man, that old guy cosplaying as a frog was an idiot."

- "Man, that old guy cosplaying as a frog was not an idiot after all. "

My goals here are simple.

1. To create self-organizing, self-sustaining community built around an ecosystem that decentralizes opportunity.

2.) Impart the wisdom I have learned from life experience, mentors, books, etc. etc.

3.) Avoid becoming more of a bozo in the process.

In past Cycles, #bitcoin did 30% drawdowns often and with ease. We all took it on the chin.

Feels different this cycle, I sense lot more uneasiness. And I believe it's because this is 2nd or 3rd cycle for most, and they're looking for a "set for life" cycle.

Over-exposure, over-confidence, unrealistic expectations, all can lead to being in a position that quickly becomes stressful and difficult to manage.

I for one firmly believe this Cycle will deliver. But I sure as hell wouldn't bet my ranch or health on it, as many do. Regardless of how much I had. Just not a way to invest.
