It is becoming f*cking dangerous: I made a 22-second motion clip in Claude Code without opening After Effects
no timeline, no keyframes. one brief, 5 scenes, 660 frames, and every number on screen pulled from the article it was about
what one run looks like:
→ write the brief first: size, length, scenes, palette, where the numbers come from
→ ask for a scene map with frame ranges before any code
→ every scene is a React component, every move driven by the frame number
→ render one still per scene and check it. mine caught a waveform running off the panel and labels wrapping onto two lines
→ fix those, then render the mp4
the video is that run: the brief, the scene map, the two bugs, the render
paste this into Claude Code:
"Set up a Remotion project for a 1080x1350, 30fps clip.
1. Read BRIEF.md and return a scene map with frame ranges before writing code.
2. Build each scene as its own component. Drive every value from useCurrentFrame.
3. Render one still per scene. Check for overflow, wrapping and overlaps, and list what you fixed.
4. Render the mp4 only after I approve the stills."

74.8% VS 7.8%. THAT'S HOW OFTEN A VOICE AGENT CUTS YOU OFF WHEN IT READS THE TRANSCRIPT VS WHEN IT HEARS THE AUDIO.
speech-to-text keeps your words and throws away everything else.
what the agent never gets:
> the falling pitch that says you're done talking
> the pause that means you're still thinking
> the tone behind a polite "fine"
> who you're talking to. "yes, go ahead" to the agent and to your partner look the same on paper
> the TV or the kids in the background
his fix is a small model that hears the call and makes the quick calls: speak, wait, hand over. the big LLM only writes the reply.
apple got up to 39% fewer errors when it added the audio next to the transcript. meta and cmu cut tool latency 20% by starting the lookup mid-sentence.
I think the biggest gap in voice AI is that agents make decisions from a transcript, not from the audio. I wrote down my thoughts.
I’d love to hear where you disagree. https://t.co/hHmfjlbFKG
