I held a telephone conversation with the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, @alensimonyan.

I congratulated him on the convincing victory of the Civil Contract party in the parliamentary elections and on the renewed mandate of trust from the citizens of Armenia.

Ukraine respects the choice of the Armenian people. Free elections, a strong parliament, and public trust in democratic institutions strengthen the state.

We reaffirmed the importance of constructive dialogue and practical cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia — based on mutual respect, sovereignty, and international law.

I invited Alen Simonyan to visit Kyiv. I look forward to continuing an active interparliamentary dialogue between Ukraine and Armenia.
