@Tectone Played dragonwilds all the way through and put off Valheim because it looked clunky but after 50 hours it is so fun and rewarding. I like it more. Just got to swamp, challenging shit
@FirstMateAce Definitely start farming. Gathering ingredients is time consuming but with farming you can easily get more than you can use once composting and using iron secateurs. Stockpile seeds / grab them when you’re running around
How to turn $50K into $1M in $ASST?
Buy 1,800 shares, stock goes to $590
-OR-
Buy 27 contracts of the 20 calls in Jan '29, stock goes to $410
The calls get to $1M at a 31% lower stock price than spot, but with higher risk.
$ASST Stock vs. Call Options (LEAPS)
Are options worth it?
Let's compare $50K in stock to $50K in 20-strike call options expiring in January 2029.
That's 1,800 shares vs. 27 contracts of the calls.
The first difference is you lose all of your money in the calls if the stock is at or below $20 in Jan 2029, while you *only* lose 30% in the shares.
At a stock price of $50, the calls underperform the stock by $8,000.
But at higher price targets, the outperformance compounds for the call options.
At $100: Calls make $166K, outperform stock by $37K
At $200: Calls make $436K, outperform stock by $127K
At $500: Calls make $1.25M, outperform stock by $397K
So if you anticipate ASST getting to $100+ at some point by January 2027 (850+ days), buying long-term call options will outperform shares.
The reason is you get leverage with the calls. With $50K, you can buy 1,800 shares or 27 of these calls. That means your max delta, or sensitivity to $1 stock price changes, is +1,800 in the shares or +2,700 in the calls. But you pay the same for both positions. You effectively get 50% more share exposure in the calls, but have time risk because you lose all of your money if ASST < $20 in 2.3 years.
You can get even more leverage with other contracts that carry higher risk, which means 1) shorter duration (January 2028) and/or 2) higher strike price. Because these will be cheaper, allowing for more contracts purchased and more share exposure.
