Sony has registered a patent for an AI-powered system that makes NPCs and video game enemies react differently to you, according to your playstyle🚀

The system observes how you play and interact, and adjusts NPCs, enemies and boss behavior accordingly giving different appearances, difficulties and overall interactions.

This can potentially change enemy attack patterns and when new phases trigger, making them more or less challenging, depending how machine learning interprets your playstyle and translates it to in-game interactions😎

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot stated that Watch Dogs is an “important” brand of theirs, but also told players not to expect a new game soon🚀

In another report, @_Tom_Henderson_ stated that Watch Dogs Legion: Director’s Cut is coming in the first half of 2027.

Watch Dogs movie was also in production as of 2 years ago, with no updates yet.

Watch Dogs first launched in 2014 as what appears to be a rival to Grand Theft Auto. It’s a shame it was never given the budget or the attention it deserved that they gave to Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry.

I have always seen Watch Dogs having HUGE potential in its own right, and focusing on the future, tech, AI and the sci-fi elements was a much more aspect of it than gangs and politics, and Legion had so much potential that was left unrealized.

Watch Dogs also has great potential to become a sister franchise to Assassin’s Creed, focusing on the modern day aspect which the franchise seems quite confused in undecided about how to handle it ever since 2013.

I really hope to a proper revamp of the Watch Dogs IP that makes it more about the futurism and tech, which is what gave it a distinct identity to begin with😎
