Constantly trying to bring our distracted ADHD brains back to the thing we should be focusing on takes so much energy.
The more our environment distracts us, the more energy we spend. The more energy we spend, the less we have for actually doing what we're meant to focus on
ADHD… Find you agree to everything and then get OVERLOADED!
Due to delayed processing in our brains, we often agree to things without actually processing if it’s possible, if we are busy, got alot on or have other plans.
It’s not until our brains catch up that we realise! #ADHD
Often I distracted with ideas and forget the original thing I was doing… I know in my gut it was good, but my brain has completely lost it!
I always retrace my steps and most times it will come back to me. #ADHD#mindfog#adhdtwitter#Neurodiversity#adhdnation
I think a lot of us with ADHD are convinced we are too much. Too emotional. Too forgetful. Too late. Then we spend most of our efforts trying to be “good enough.”
Some of us never feel like we’re good enough.
I think THAT is where at least some of the RSD comes from.

@LittlePuddins I think they say this as all the terms have changed so much over the years. My daughter was diagnosed with mild autism 2013 but now it would probably be described by a professional on the spectrum when actually she is autistic.
