Adm Dinesh K Tripathi, #CNS reviewed the Passing Out Parade at Bangladesh Naval Academy as Chief Guest on #04Jul 24 becoming the first Foreign Head of Service to review the Parade at #BNA.

CNS alluded to #Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's vision of 'Sonar Bangla' & the valour of the brave sons of soil #MuktiBahini during the Liberation War of 1971 to motivate the 68 passing out officers to dedicate their lives to nation-building & national security. #BangladeshNavy

CNS exhorted the graduating class & officer cadets on parade to put in their best in whatever they do. #Motivation - excellence a way of life.

#CNS congratulated the award winners & advised those who did not win awards to not lose hope & work harder in times to come to enhance their #professionalism.

Complimenting cadets on the immaculate turnout, drill & bearing, #CNS highlighted that, “there is a real world with real problems” waiting for them & that “everything will not happen as per their plans & wishes” and as officers “when the going gets tough, the tough get going.”

Finally, #CNS reassured the strong ties & close relations b/n #Bangladesh & #India and the two navies and stated that “*these bonds are forged in combat & would grow from strength to strength to endure peace” #IOR #BayofBengal

Dr Mayank Sharma, IDAS, Addl CGDA delivered an engaging talk at #CDM_IDS on 'Defence Finance Structures, Systems and Processes'. He highlighted the strategic significance of efficient resource allocation, and budgeting as a tool for meeting organisational objectives. The Addl CGDA emphasized the importance of prioritising procurement as aligned to demand & affordability. He highlighted the role of internal audit, integration of diverse systems & tenants of financial propriety.

A matter of pride & honour for all personnel of #IndianNavy, as Hon’ble Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh, after assuming charge for the 2nd consecutive term made his maiden outstation visit to #EasternNavalCommand, Visakhapatnam & reviewed #IndianNavy’s operational readiness along the Eastern Seaboard.

Embarked onboard #INSJalashwa, the RM interacted with the men & women of the @IN_EasternFleet & praised their contribution towards ensuring India’s #MaritimeSecurity, as well as the #IndianNavy’s strong presence in the Indian Ocean Region #IOR.

Underlining the fact that India’s commercial interests are linked with the #IOR, the RM emphasised on being focussed on further strengthening #maritimesecurity & making the presence of #India’s naval power in IOR more effective & robust.

He commended the Navy for being operationally ready & emerging as the #FirstResponder in the IOR, with actions aligned to the vision of Security And Growth for All in the Region #SAGAR.
