@james_e1871 Still keen to add to the squad?! I’d like to refer Noel to the SCMP video, as well as his sit-down with Joe Jacobson yesterday, where Joe admitted we’ve already spent more than budgeted since day one. Silly Noel.
“a lot of these players have families and kids”
This isn’t unique to #ReadingFC. Every club deals with the same challenges and many have secured, or are securing, signings ahead of us.
We’re constantly fed “yeah, but…” narratives, as if we face obstacles no other club does.
A pretty in-depth explanation from Noel Hunt on the long-running saga to sign a forward. Still wants 3-4 more before the deadline, and 2 before Tuesday's cup tie #readingfc https://t.co/mOsRv4QoUg
@MACquotes@MUS57A@RCouhig Not at all a silly question – my understanding is limited, but NFL teams seem to opt for clean, bold, easily recognisable logos, a bit like Peterborough’s new single-lion badge. I was speculating based on that, but could easily be a case of 2+2=5!
@benamaclean from what was said earlier in the podcast, it seems all owners were invited but some couldn’t be reached or preferred to stay out of it.
Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony says Rob Couhig is 1 of 19 League One owners in a WhatsApp group discussing how to better market in the US, taking inspo from the NFL.
Wonder what this means in real terms. A “brand evolution” like P’boro’s with badge change etc? #ReadingFC
@MUS57A@RCouhig Just to point out, I’m only speculating as it’s all open-ended at this stage and nothing specific has been shared. Best to wait and see if anything comes from the wider owner discussions!
🏟️ Tickets are now off sale and there’ll be 15,395 Chairboys fans heading to @wembleystadium on Sunday for the @BSM_Trophy Final.
Thank you to everyone who’s coming along to roar us on beneath the arch.
COME ON WYCOMBE!
Wycombe Wanderers Football Club are putting on hold provision for funding to Reading Football Club and the acquisition of the Bearwood Park training facility from its owners.
@ReeceDSport And in doing so contributing to the likely liquidation of one of the oldest football league clubs, good for you though owning the fact you're opportunistic vultures
As much as I’d love to blame them find the hate on Wycombe for the training ground strange
They’ve just purchased Premier League facilities for a Non League cost. Are they supposed to go nah thanks, or ask to pay double?
It’s a business and Reading ain’t their responsibility
Red = cameraman + his line of sight (car)
Yellow = Bowen
Just deeply unfortunate timing for yet another car sponsorship announcement / developments with Select Car Leasing?
I see no other reason for the car to feature so prominently.

Sir Bobby's words never rang truer than today for reading fans, you can see the anger and hurt all over twitter today, if Wycombe have any decency they'll pull out of this deal
