@RyanFaircloth Gotta hand it to Tim. He sure figured out a way to stick it to Amy after she gave him the axe to his face.
She did not want to spend July 4 getting asked about pardoning child rapists to avoid deportations.
Shows more political talent than I thought him capable of.
@Ruppster2@awstar11 Gyms would be a great idea. MSP just opened a “gaming lounge” — clear that shit out, put 40 ellipticals and treadmills in there, and charge $75 for 30 minutes.
There’d be a wait list hours long every day, even at that outrageous price.
@varadmehta@TradVat2 It’d be interesting to poll “do you want judges that give you outcomes you want” vs “do you want judges that follow the law even if it leads to outcomes you don’t like”
Most Rs 3yrs would have said the later but didn’t really mean it (knowingly or not)
@NickDefabrizio@jacklgoldsmith Definitely the case then. It is much, much improved from then. Scalia changed the court for the better in ways most will never understand.
It’s not perfect by any means, but of the three branches it is the closest to functioning (not a high bar I know)
@KDilanianMSNOW Almost hard to believe we’re still not in mourning over the fact our tax dollars are no longer funding 45 year old grad students and nepo babies.
@MichaelH_MN If you had a single argument to make about how the court was wrong on the law — and there are some valid ones — you managed to avoid making them.
Instead you did exactly what the left does: “The court was wrong because I don’t like the answer”
Do better, man.
