Several years ago the first round was played at the 1 seed’s gym while the Final Four and championship was at the Sportscenter. I don’t mind this as a solution but 4200 would not fit in any high school gym comfortably.

I can see both sides of this argument but I’m in favor of the Sportscenter. College court prepares the kids for Rupp and arena atmosphere, among other things. Each region team should be able to play at least 2 or 3 games there a season.

Over 4200 people attended the Boys 3rd Region Final 4 tonight. Sure would have been a shame if 2,000 of those fans had to watch it on closed circuit TV, cause they couldn't fit in a high school gym
