@_willcompton Yes, market (meat) pigs are only about 6-8 months old at their peak. After that they start to break down & show their age. If they are too old their meat isn’t as good or worth anything. They are only good to show for a short period of time. So there is no next year unfortunately

Yes! I see dogs all the time that are just being who they were bred to be, and then they don’t fit into peoples lifestyles & it creates major issues, and sometimes leads to rehoming. Do your research before getting a dog, not just want looks cute or cool to have.
