@zerohedge What did @ford expect? The blue collar working class, target market for the mustang and trucks, cant afford a damn 70k oversized and overweight mustang gt. Make it smaller, lighter, v8 and 43k and a 40k crossover for a family car and watch that turn around.
Since the 1980s, the Sahara has shrunk by roughly 8%. Satellite data show widespread greening, a pattern that is playing out across the planet.
Around 50% of Earth's vegetated land has become significantly greener, an area roughly three times the size of the United States.
The dominant driver is not rainfall or land use change, it is rising atmospheric CO2.
Higher CO2 lets plants photosynthesize more efficiently, they lose less water, they tolerate heat and dryness better.
The effect is strongest along desert margins, across the Sahel, the Middle East, Australia's interior and the southern edge of the Sahara.
Rising CO2 is making the deserts, and the planet as a whole, greener.
@CharlesMullins2 I think if they figured this out with engines already, storage of hydrogen and infrastructure will develop faster for this than battery energy density will be suitable for commercial flight like we have today. The race is on.
@ThisReallySean@xrpmickle It still has to be brought to the floor by Thune. Being on the calendar doesn't automatically move it to the floor. And since Thune hates Trump (always has, but now Trump endorsed Paxton over his little RINO ally in TX) and this is a bill Trump is pushing, I see him punting it.
@xrpmickle Which means Thune needs to take it up. And with how much Thune hates Trump for endorsing Paxton over his little RINO buddy in Texas, he will likely punt this since it's something Trump wants. He does not give 2 ๐ฉs about what voters demand, he has made that very clear. Good luck.
@KingKaranCrypto As much as I would like to see the July 4th target, I think we'll be lucky to see it by August recess, and that's if it goes without hiccups until then. It's not looking good with the crowded schedule and now more divided senate.
Wind turbine blades cannot be recycled.
"In the US, the cheapest option is to send fibreglass blades to landfills."
"By 2050, there could be more than 40 million metric tonnes of blade waste piling up worldwide."
The Chicago Bears say they are leaving Chicago, likely moving to Hammond, Indiana
The team says they can not afford the cost of taxes imposed by Democrats
They would be set to pay $53 million in taxes per year on a stadium if they stayed
Mayor Brandon Johnson is lobbying against The โMega Projectsโ Bill and without this bill the team would pay $53 million per year in taxes on a Stadium in Arlington Heights
Because of this, moving to Arlington Heights isnโt an option and Iโll most likely leave for Indiana
The taxes in America are so beyond out of control itโs insane. We need a complete reset in this country
@WallStreetApes They leave it that way so fires are much worse, and they can blame climate change to convince people more theft and government control is the solution.
Indiana, USA: Yet another expensive solar farm was reduced to a pile of toxic debris by... some bad weather.
Imagine depending on this inefficient, intermittent and fragile technology to power advanced first world economies, under the guise of solving a non-existent "climate crisis".
The Left said climate change was SO IMPORTANT that they should be able to:
a) Rip out your gas appliances
b) Ban your gas vehicle
c) Tax you into oblivion
Then, Elon supported Trump and they BURNED his Teslas.
It was never about the climate.
It was about controlling you.
