I love the nostalgia trip; I, like many, were a day 1 Ocarina of Time stalwart. The 2 year build up to that game was amazing. The final product was even better. I just can’t see a remake getting newhere near that - but that’s cool. Diving back into that world will be amazing.
The Yooka-Re-Playlee last boss difficulty spike is weird and unnecessary. Dragged the end-game out.
Other than that, the game was awesome. Nice work, @PlaytonicGames
#FinalFantasyTactics on the Switch has been consuming my life these past few weeks. I’ve just finished my first playthrough (I missed the PSX version back in the day).
Man, what a bloody game!
Anyone know what’s going on with the UK (@Amazon) physical release of #TrailsintheSky1stChapter ? My pre-order hasn’t been shipped and it now says delivery within 1-2 months?
Replaying Mario Sunshine. Bianco Hills is a mess - navigation is clunky, and it demands precision the controls just can’t deliver. Didn’t notice how rough it was back in ’03. Nostalgia blinded me. Apparently, Miyamoto hates it too!
The original Metroid Prime introduced many control innovations because it was designed around the limitations of having only a controller. Consequently, I’m not a big fan of the mouse control option for Metroid Prime 4 - it feels like it undermines what made the series a success.
