@F_Herranz @NanoImmunother1@SBAN_Conference We tested different variations: the use of minor boiling point solvents (obtaining only cubic NPs between 5-70 nm) or reduce the heating ramp (obtaining bigger multicubic NPs). We think that the following approach should be directed to reduce the ratio iron/surfactant agent.(2/2)
@F_Herranz @NanoImmunother1@SBAN_Conference Thanks for your question, Fernando. I think that is a very interesting approach which you propose, and achieving a smaller multi cubic system could be translated into an improvement of the magnetic response to the selectable magnetic fields. We are working on it (1/2)
@Lu_Gutierrez_M@alvaromgc15@NanoImmunother1@SBAN_Conference Both MC-30 and MC-60 are determined to be magnetite by RX. Additionally, through VSM we obtained typical hysteresis curves of superparamagnetic nanoparticles. These analyses have to be extended to MC-120 too. Thanks for your interest, Lucia
@alvaromgc15@NanoImmunother1@SBAN_Conference However, we are working in additional characterization as HR-TEM to try to determine the crystal orientation and we hope to collect further information. (2/2)
@alvaromgc15@NanoImmunother1@SBAN_Conference Thanks for your question, Alvaro. Other synthesis conditions have been tested, and the results observed seems to indicate growth and fusion of small cubic cores progressing to a big cube, playing the reaction time a crucial role in this final morphology.
