@nithyavraman Yes, Nithya we all know you want to DEFUND the police.. But please, this happened a few days in YOUR district and we still have no answers and the neighbors car is still MISSING.
I grew up in this city, I walked to elementary school in the early 2000’s when things were significantly safer. In today’s Los Angeles, you could never allow an elementary school kid to walk alone, they probably wouldn’t even make it half way to school without being attacked unprovoked or trafficked by drug addicts, sex offenders or gangs.
Today, I can’t drive to work or home without seeing drug addicts, naked or passed out in the street. If I call 911, if I’m not on hold for 2 hours, the response will take 2 hours before they tell me due to policies they can’t arrest the offender.
Every damn day I’m driving on third world pavement. Tampa Ave at the 101 has been unmaintained for a decade and is crumbling, most of our streets are littered with potholes and inoperative, dangerous street light conditions.
Our taxes are climbing every year with little to nothing to show for it, including during this primary election where they asked to increase taxes for certain things. I got a letter in the mail last month asking for annual property tax increase to fix the lights that should already be funded by my existing taxes. All of this is out of control.
If @spencerpratt simply enforces laws that already exist that @KarenBassLA refuses to enforce, our city will be so much safer. If Spencer simply removes the fraud, waste and abuse from city hall, maybe LA will get out of its recently acquired billion dollar deficit.
If Spencer simply offers help to all the drug addicts and homeless instead of enabling their addiction with drug packs and narcan, our city will be so much safer.
I can go on and on. There’s a million things Spencer can do with no “experience” that will make @MayorOfLA look like a complete joke.
We don’t need any further legislation. We simply need a new mayor, and his name is Spencer Pratt.
SECRETARY RUBIO: America will be engaged in the world. It’s not about turning inward. But we will engage with the world based on what’s good for America and in the national interest of the United States.
From FB: “This happened to me today. And yes, that’s a BOAT! 😳 I was using FSD, so I’m not sure if the Tesla started to brake before I slammed on the brakes and yanked the wheel. Another vehicle might have rolled from that. Fortunately nobody was in the lane to my right. I didn’t have any time to think…just react. No damage to my car, just a bit shook. Stay safe out there!”
