Exchange House Ireland was proud to support the launch of Tusla’s “On the One Road” national programme yesterday at Tusla HQ, Dublin.
As part of the National Working Group for Traveller Children & Families, we welcome Tusla’s commitment to real partnership with Traveller orgs.
We believe that introducing this #AddThe10th ground is an opportunity for Ireland to show real leadership internationally, yet Ireland is not the only country where this issue is on the agenda
Thanks to the young people from Bradóg for supporting

Will it start by where you live
Will it start by the way you talk
Will it start by the way you walk
Will it start if someone see you drunk..

Those experiencing this form of discrimination currently have no way of seeking any form of legal redress and have no protection in the law. Socio-economic discrimination can occur in many forms & can be experienced both individually and collectively
Westport #familyresourceirl
It is important for legislation to recognise the variety of ways in which poverty-based discrimination can manifest, including judgement based on accents, the way one dresses, postcodes, leading to persistent societal shame and stigma.
