@mikemaddenwx@AcademicChatter "You need to dedicate all your time to do your work. You are not married and don't have a family, therefore you have more time to put in" and "next time you have a problem, solve it yourself" are the least helpful. Work-life balance and discussion are essential
@GeorgiaVrakas @AcademicChatter Ditched Endnote 3 years in my PhD due to constant bugs in the processors plug-in and have no intention of going back to it, it gave me too many nightmares when I had to work with a different manager. I prefer Mendeley (way easier) but I would say use what works best for you
@GOESbyJuniper@AcademicChatter Don't be afraid of discussing your work with everybody. The advice you get ranges from very to little helpful but it always makes your work better; one day you'll have the chance to help someone else starting their PhD too. And don't forget, always be kind to yourself.
@geneticginger@PhDForum If you're focusing on creating new knowledge that can help further research to push things forward in your field and have clear focal points then you are. Be confident and proud of your contribution and enjoy wandering through knowledge to achieve what you want. Cheers
