Accept Album Ranking from Worst to Best

#3: Breaker (1981)

I don’t care what ANYONE says, I see this as Accept’s TRUE debut album! This is the album where the band stopped FUCKING AROUND with trying to sound commercial and started become an ACTUAL Heavy Metal band! Just from the opening notes, you can TELL the band FINALLY told Wolf Hoffmann and Jorg Fischer that they can UNLEASH on the masses with this album! I also think this album has one of the most SOLID track lists of their career! There isn’t a SINGLE dip in the tracklist, except for MAYBE the ballad toward the end. But other than that, EVERY song is killer!

This album ARGUABLY has the best start of ANY Accept album! It must’ve been a REVELATION to hear how heavy this record is after dealing with Disco Accept for the first two albums😂 ‘Starlight’ and the title track are some of the best opening tracks in METAL! The title track also being a precursor to Speed Metal! ‘Run If You Can’ is a GREAT early anthemic Accept song! If you want to send your enemy a diss track, send them ‘Son Of A Bitch’! Assuming you hate that person as much as the guys in Accept hated their management😂 ‘Feeling’ is a FANTASTIC deep track and ‘Midnight Highway’ is one of Accept’s most underrated tracks ever!

I give NO SHAME in calling this Accept’s ACTUAL debut album! The sound that the band would become most known and beloved for first appears on this album! And it’s an absolutely BRILLIANT example of early Heavy Metal! AND a great sign of what was to come…
