Joburg’s collapse did not happen by accident. It collapsed because of the political choices voters made. On 4 November, you have a chance to reverse it. 🗳️🇿🇦

you march for jobs... then you loot the shop that gives jobs.
You march for food... then you burn the warehouse that feeds you.
You march for SA... then you destroy SA.
that’s not fixing. That’s suicide in slow motion.
a criminal breaks a shop window → People ululate.
A criminal carries a stolen TV → People record and laugh.
A criminal burns a truck → People say “They must be heard.”
when did we become a nation that claps while our own house burns?
that clap is not courage. That clap is fear.
Because, tomorrow when the shop is closed, the same people will ask “Where are the jobs?”@Mzanziawake
Massive looting and shop breaking has been unleashed by March and March thugs in Mariannridge, province of KwaZulu-Natal, this evening .
Jacinta has unleashed a demon, that she herself is unable to contain.
In Nyanga and Gugulethu, we're fixing the roads on the Cape Flats 💙👏
While the roads of Soshanguve and Mabopane are forgotten by the ANC-led government 💔
@Leon_Schreib Talk is cheap. LAY CHARGES AGAINST Jecinta and the naked zulu boy who go round violating people's rights to life and property. AND make sure the police arrests them
No person forfeits their right to life, dignity or their status as a human being because they are alleged to have violated a law. This is a defining feature of our Constitution that sets us apart as a nation of due process and the rule of law.
We will not tolerate anyone using allegations related to any person’s nationality or immigration status to violate their inherent human dignity and our Constitution, or to inflict damage on our society. It simply cannot and will not stand.
Jacob Zuma is such a pathetic old man. It is deeply embarrassing that a former president of Africa’s biggest economy would lose a political battle within the ANC and then attempt to fight back by exploiting Afrophobia through his political party, MK.
As you can hear in this MK message being delivered to communities in KwaZulu-Natal, the party is telling local residents that foreign nationals in South Africa should leave, regardless of their immigration status. How do you justify inciting communities by demanding that even people who are legally in the country should leave?
It is sad to see a man whom many incorrectly initially believed to be a genuine Pan-Africanist turn into someone driving and deepening divisions among black Africans.
History will remember leaders by whether they united people or deliberately sowed division for political gain. What a shameless man.
WATCH | DA leader Geordin Hill-Lewis says South Africa’s deepest problem is not a vulnerable person selling vegetables on a street corner, but rather an economy that cannot grow and a state that does not function.
Let’s show the very best of what it means to be South African, not the worst.
South Africans have real frustrations, however violence and chaos is not the solution.
While some stoke hatred around illegal immigration, we must uphold the rule of law, protect the lives of civilians and live out the values that make our country great.
🇿🇦 WATCH: "South Africa’s deepest problem is not a vulnerable person selling vegetables on a corner.
It is an economy that does not grow, a state that does not work, and a government that has failed..." - Geordin Hill-Lewis, DA Leader

Over the past few years Cape Town has seen a MAJOR political shift, as more opposition leaders have joined the DA. They have seen that we deliver services for all, connect with everyone and are building a country of hope for all 💙
🟡 ANC Leader in Cape Town Banele Majingo joined the DA, saying he could see what we were doing to serve all our residents.
🔴 EFF councillor Lungi Ntshuntshe joined the DA, saying she was inspired that we are the one party bringing diverse South Africans together.
🟢 Liam returns home to the DA after seeing the chaos and broken promises in smaller parties.
@ewnreporter@RespectMkhawana@JusstAlpha South African politicians, CEO’s of top companies, senior police officers and South African business people, flood our communities with drugs and then they scapegoat Nigerians
March if you must. Protest if you wish. That is your democratic right.
But do not fool yourself into thinking that removing foreigners will suddenly put food on your table, create jobs, or lift millions out of poverty.
When the marches are over and the dust settles, the same economic realities will still be there—perhaps even worse.
The struggle is not against the people fighting for survival at the bottom. The real battle is against the systems and structures that keep the majority competing for scraps while a small minority controls most of the wealth.
Too many people are fighting over crumbs when they should be asking who owns the bakery.
Be guided accordingly.
