@QPices@itsOmak_ I understand that new and unique ideas come every dime a dozen but that doesn’t mean we should accept these surface level concepts of switching up the lore. This shit has no substance, I think people are just so media illiterate nowadays they accept anything that’s “rule of cool”
@14_Trent_23@itsOmak_ I respect it but I think the training and resources is just as important to the character. To me Absolute Superman and Martian Manhunter are the best books out rn but I haven’t been keeping up with them. Absolute Batman has such a shonen manga feel to it that I really don’t enjoy
@14_Trent_23@itsOmak_ Sure man I’ll always recommend Hellboy, Watchmen, Saga of the Swamp Thing, Beneath the Trees. If you’re looking for Batman specifically I’d recommend Legends of The dark Knight, Fatal Wish, Death in The Family (Death of the family is good too) Batman RIP and Batman Detective
@14_Trent_23@itsOmak_ As a new comic fan? Fine it’s ok but I honestly think all the changes done to be “different” feel so damn uninspired and over the top for the sake of it. “How is Batman normally? Hm let’s make him broke and have his parent but he’s still equally as capable at a much younger age.
@Isimmons_art In general I like that it looks very alien like however I kinda hate how Superman looks relatively comic accurate and despite this being based on the earth one suit I feel like the classic white gloves look wouldve fit better in this more comic style universe. Idk.
