Do you remember when you joined X? I do! #MyXAnniversary
Jesus how did that pass so quickly. Still some good people on here and enough to keep the account, but a shadow of how it was or could have been now.
@DegsyGuitar I'm not 100% sure either. But exciting times. The 350 proddy class was strong with riders who went on to world championship racing - @niallmackenzie1, Morrison, Selby, MacFarlane, Duffus, plus the champions Taylor(82), Toner(83) and Lyell(84).
@Ivycottagebaker@Rockstarscars I was only 13 then π. But I think the main prize was surviving it all. Glenn Hughes & David Coverdale did, Tommy Bolin didnt.
@SteveSawford@mozzatowers Yes, very little run off there or clearways in those days. Brands, Cadwell, Bomb Hole at Snett, all were scary and claimed too many.
@mozzatowers PS I think maybe Dave Crampton #93, Steve Veasey #77, Mark Farmer #115, Geoff Fowler #81, Paul Lewis behind him. What do you think @lolp63 ?
@mozzatowers Yes it is, well spotted. Looks like 1988 on my GSXR1100, Darren Dixon leading from Steve Spray on RG's, Howard Selby next. Iain Duffus right behind me.
