1Blocker lets you block ads, trackers, and other annoyances in 🧭 Safari on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. Developed by a small independent team.
@AustD689689@leahfiles@RealCandaceO Hey, if the domains they used appear in the public filters we rely on, they should be blocked, but it was a pretty intricate network. It’s also worth noting that 1Blocker is not an anti-malware tool, even though it does prevent numerous tracking elements from loading.
@HeshamAmerSaudi Hey, if the domains used by these trackers are included in the public filters we rely on, they should be blocked.
It’s important to note, though, that while 1Blocker prevents thousands of tracking-related elements from loading, it is not an anti-malware app.
@Mirataen Unfortunately, it's a technical limitation. Exceeding that threshold might break the whole filter mechanism. While external filters may be a great additional tool, we recommend sticking with the built-in filter lists for optimal results.
@guti19102439@ifrnb Hey, if you're experiencing any issues with the app, please send us a DM here or contact our team at [email protected]. We'll be happy to help get things sorted.

@_JuCos_ Hello,
Good question. Since most of 1Blocker's tools work only in Safari, ads are not expected to be blocked in other apps. The iOS in-app filter in the app's Privacy tab is designed to block in-app trackers system-wide.
We’re excited to announce 1Blocker 6, featuring enhanced blocking and a fresh design. It’s a free update for all existing users, setting the stage for even more innovations ahead. 🎉

@drewcosten Hey, thanks for reaching out! Every time you launch the app, it checks for available filter updates and downloads them if there are any. In the last couple of days, we pushed a few additional updates, so you might have seen the message more frequently than usual.
@Modesto2do Hey, thanks for sharing! Just to clarify, 1Blocker's in-app filter is primarily designed to block trackers rather than in-app ads, so some ads loading inside games is expected behavior. Here's a brief overview of that feature: https://t.co/BjmsgsklCR
@robmckenzieuk Hi, yes, definitely!
The setup is almost the same as for recurring subscriptions. Here's an overview of how to configure it: https://t.co/JhbGdN5gsR
@repoles Hey, thank you for your report.
Could you send us a DM here if the issue persists?
Since you are the first user to report it, we will need to troubleshoot it first to figure out the root cause.
@LesleyD03804649 Thank you for letting us know about this issue. Could you send us a detailed report with a couple of examples of those sites to [email protected]? We will look into your report and do our best to resolve this.
@cromwell@magiclassoco Hey, while we can't make any promises right now, we're always looking for new ways to improve our users' browsing experience wherever possible.
@ClipzAndClipz Hey, thanks for reaching out.
Do you mean the placeholder on the main page? This one can't be removed because it's how the page itself is built, unfortunately.
@JBaby_9783 Hey,
Thanks for your report. If the issue persists, please contact our support team here or at [email protected] with some examples of sites where you are seeing ads.
Thank you!
