I knew a guy who was on the same commissioning course as him at Sandhurst. This guy had been in the TA and done Op tours (Kosovo and Iraq) and had the jubilee medal on FTRS. Harry had one medal. For all the practices for their pass out parade where the Queen would be present up to the full dress rehearsal he was in the same squad as Harry. But when it was seen that he would be in the same photos he was quickly moved into the other squad and in the rear rank. Can't have Harry looking out shone. In front of grandma.
@SuburbanDuchess Sorry but I thought we had a data protection act. You can't give out the addresses of your pupils to a private person without their permission. I don't know if Im correct with my understanding of the law. Could the parents take action?
@kelvmackenzie I think he was going to be told to leave the US for not declaring his drug use on his entry visa. Any other none US citizen would have been rejected immediately.
Burnham plan to get unemployed off the register. Tony Blair tried this when he first came into no 10. There is No Forth option you either find work, training or lose your benefit. Sounds great. Did it work. In a way yes as according to the Employment Services staff at the Job centres at the time up to 30% of unemployment benefit disappeared off the register on its introduction. Just didn't sign on. Its thought most of these were already working in the black economy. Those signing on by post just kept on as they were. In the next few weeks there will be sensational news that under Burnham the unemployed are getting back to work. Now the unemployed sign on remotely. How about making them attend the Job centre once a month with prove of their job applications and interviews. Give Job centre staff the ability to suspend payments under prove of job hunt. That would upset the back benches so I don't think it will happen. Just left the unemployed benefit fraud continue.
