WPATH was the crucial node in a new kind of conspiracy to corrupt the practice of medicine. It manufactured a false consensus on behalf of a set of pseudo-medical cult practices (including, crucially, the repurposing of adult cancer drugs to stunt the puberty of confused children) masquerading as evidence-based and life-saving.

This conspiracy to commit fraud managed to suborn a wide range of different institutions, including the mass media and politicians, all the way up to the President of the United States. But at the foundation of all of this ongoing criminal conspiracy's claims was a trade organization representing and acting in the financial interests of gender doctors to provide them the cover of medical consensus while marketing procedures that inflicted endocrine disorders and destroyed the sexual function of thousands of children who had been systematically misled about the manifold risks and vaporous benefits of the procedures, and thus denied the capacity to give informed consent to medicalized self-harm that was sold to them as evidence based.

All of this has already been proven beyond any reasonable doubt in multiple unimpeachable forums. All that remains is for a court to undertake an impartial assessment of the overwhelming evidence that proves this is true and act in accordance with the principles of reason, evidence, truth, and justice, and deliver a fatal strike to this conspiracy.

Male rapists and murderers who say they are women are being housed with women, masturbating in front of them, and threatening to rape and kill them in state prisons in Minnesota, New York, California, and Washington state, and federal prisons in Florida and Texas. It's a violation of the Eighth Amendment, it's a violation of the Geneva Conventions, it's a human rights abuse, it's a state-sanctioned abuse of women, all of it founded on an absurd lie that a man becomes a woman when he says that he is a woman. The same is happening in Canada and across the UK.

Affirming transgenderism requires inflicting absurdities and cruelties on women and children. Affirming transgenderism requires corrupting the language and corrupting medicine and corrupting the law. These aren't difficult questions once you understand the basic lie at the foundation of it. Any judge should be able to uproot and dismantle it. That none have yet is an index of a derangement afflicting the educated classes of the Western world.

One Scottish judge got it right. Now others must do likewise.

The Soviet Union was never frightening for its missiles. It was frightening for the republics and satellites behind it, Ukraine, Poland, the Baltics, the whole captive East. The morning they walked off in 1991 the warheads stayed and the superpower did not.

The thing nobody says out loud is that the same arrangement, freely given, made America. The eastern states that fled Moscow, Poland and the Baltics among them, lined up behind Washington instead, and on top of Western Europe and Canada that put more than 600 million people at one country's back. That, not the arsenal, was the superpower. America alone is just well armed.

It held that for a few years. Then Trump and Hegseth set about giving it away.
