In a week of sad losses farewell to Dennis Law, one of the all-time greats and a childhood hero of mine. I have a photo of me with Dennis and George Best on the set of Clive Anderson talks back. It’s as happy as I can look. A wonderful player and a wonderful guy. RIP Dennis.
So sad to hear about the terribly early passing of Tony Slattery. He was one of the nicest, kindest, cleverest and funniest people I ever had the privilege to work with. In his day the camera loved him and he was right up there with the best of them. RIP Tony.
