@Shane00 As a rookie they were never going to give him the calls he gets now. It’s an evolution of his growth and knowledge of the game/ rule book to exploit it/ his defender.

In these playoffs the refs are doing a better job of not calling every flop. He will need to adapt again.

@NBA__Courtside Channing Frye needs to list the 350 players he thinks are better than Luka at defense. Also he needs to perhaps think why is it that a coach’s strategy might be smart to tire out an offensive engine by focusing on them & making them play defense significantly throughout a game.

@NBA__Courtside I would say he is confusing potential with actual results on the court. There were some higher highs but the overall average of his rookie season was not a better season than Luka’s rookie season.

R we talking future ceiling? There r way more ?’s about how Tatum comes back from an Achilles injury than Flagg continuing to develop. In the next 3 seasons those odds may be better than they think.

@TheLukaVerse For Shai sure. It was 5 years? For victor they tanked a lot before he got there to eventually get him but didn’t tank as much since getting him. They just haven’t been great and he got those blood clots last year.

My guess is that the refs would not be so quick in handing out technicals when they know they blew a call. It would also be a public display of accountability that is lacking which invokes anger in the fan base.

@NBA new rule for next season: if a ref gives a player/ coach a technical for arguing an incorrect call then it goes to a review booth. If the ref is found to be in the wrong & the player/ coach is right, the tech gets rescinded in game.

People want to villainize Kidd. With the he said he said I’m not sure anybody will really know. All I know is Cuban is salty about selling the team. People r blaming him for the fall out and he is looking for places to point his fingers while benefiting from the pay out.

@Hero_OfThe_Day Technically now he only has 64 gms for the szn, all the debating about if he should be the MVP was a waste. He doesn’t even qualify for that or ALL NBA. One game short. They should just roll him out for the last game for one minute and let him dribble on a play and shoot a FGA.
