It takes so much courage for a young woman like Praise Aloikin to speak up and stand for what she believes is right. It is deeply troubling when institutions like the Uganda Police whose main duty is to protect citizens, instead works with those who fear the truth to silence young, bold and relentless voices.
Abducting and disappearing Praise will not solve the problems she courageously speaks about. No voice raised for justice should ever be silenced through fear.

The core problem we face as a nation today is that many individuals are appointed to high positions simply because of their parents influence, or through bribery and exploitation. This is especially evident in @PoliceUg and @MODVA_UPDF. When people handed high ranks such as being unmeritedly promoted to Generals without any military combat experience, simply because of their family connections, it's inevitably leads to unprofessional behavior.
In a contrast those who have actually fought for their ranks demonstrate true professionalism, particularly in how they treat civilians. On the other hands, managers who land positions through well connected phone calls often mistreat their fellow workers.
We strongly advise whoever obtained a Job through nepotism or favoritism, rather than qualifications and experience to behave respectfully. Being someone's child doesn't mean people fear you, without your pistol or bodyguards, you're just an ordinary person. Yet, there's still one notable General who can walk the streets of Kampala with everyone yearning to greet him, not out of fear, but out of genuine respect for who he is and how he treats ordinary people.
